The PADI Advanced Open Water course is as much about improving your underwater skills and learning new techniques as it is about having more fun!
To become an Advanced Open Water diver, you will have to complete the Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation specialty dives, plus 3 more from the following:
- Enriched Air Diver (EANx)
- Wreck Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Fish ID
- Boat Diver
- Search and Recovery
- Underwater Photography
- Rescue Diver
- Surface Marker Buoy
You can choose your 3 speciality dives in the booking form. For every speciality dive you complete, you can earn credit towards PADI speciality certifications.*
About this course:
- Minimum age – 12
- Maximum depth – 30 meters for AOWD, 21 meters for Junior AOWD
- Prerequisites – Open Water Diver Level
- Open water dives – 5
- Open water dives location – Koh Tao, Sail Rock or Chumphon Pinnacles
- Certification – Certified to dive to 30m with a buddy
